I’ve not actively been pursuing BDSM relations or liaisons for long, it is all still relatively new to me and a lot of the time i feel lost. I struggle to find mutual contacts or genuine and experienced Dominants that are willing to show me the way, guide me and possibly train me. At present i seek guidance and require experience in specific aspects of submission and BDSM to enable me to make better informed decisions in the future, as i say i seem to have little luck in this and in a year and half have only met one Dominant.

It strikes me that I’m not the only one who is curious and deeply motivated to submit but have difficulty discovering the right partner or who fail to stumble across the secretive groups that meet who are capable of providing a wonderful education and introduction to the World they have long lived in. For a moment i asked myself ‘how can i expand what is at the moment pure fantasy in to reality’ then it hit me, surely there would be a group of devoted lifestyles who would be interested in promoting the philosophies and principals of BDSM who may have set up some kind of training regime, academy or some kind of other training institute.

A simple Internet search revealed a couple from the U.K and another from America but none were as extensive i was looking for, they seemed to be two day or weekend affairs that cost an arm and a leg and didn’t really deliver education as search, they were delivering a sexual fantasy more than anything. I was expecting, in my own mind, to find a group of individuals who had banded together who out of a reasonably large premises took on applicants for a week or so, set them up in basic accommodation on the premises and provided a rigid structure of education (proper education such as: the origins of BDSM, philosophies, standard practises etc), training and basic mental preparation through classes and workshops. Not unlike a boarding school environment, nothing sexual at all, perhaps nudity, but only to further the education and preparation of a slave to be. Needless to say i was unable to find such a place.

My very description may sound like a fantasy, pie in the sky, but i did really expect to find that such a place existed complete with its very own promotional web site, if i had the money it would be something that i would definitely of looked in to. It’s also the perfect solution to help dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding much of BDSM, it may even help to facilitate a better, more respectable public opinion regarding the people who lead healthy, non-abusive, BDSM lives.

I’d be elated to receive any links or information regarding any such place, should you know of any and what your opinion is on such a place.

I know there is a lot of information out there on the web, it’s just a case of ‘where do i begin’ its overwhelming starting anything on this scale but even more so with something still not widely accepted and still rather secretive.
